I would just like to make a software suggestion for the AR3/AR3S
It would be nice to have a heavy snow/rain button in the app that will disable the auto tracking feature for a couple hours (or a set amount of time that the user could input). This would force the camera to it's default location for a set period of time so it stops trying to track the snow and rain (This causes my cameras to focus on areas where nothing is happening because it is trying to motion track the snow/rain.

If you wanted to get even fancier, you could integrate the amaryllo app with local weather and automatically disable auto tracking when the forecast says it is raining/snowing in a users location. This would be an amazing feature.

Thank you and please let me know what you think. I have backed 4 of your kick starter campaigns and love to see improvements.
Thank You
Travis K

Hello,

"Since it sounds the camera is installed in a quite open area, the activity zone option in the app may help some to reduce the unnecessary detection. "
Yes, I do use the activity zone feature, but in heavy snow and rain the camera still moves away from the main point of interest while it tries to track the falling snow/rain.
"Though we have the on/off switch of auto-tracking in Amaryllo app Setting already, you suggest that we move this option to app homepage for easier switching on and off, correct ?"
That is correct, a "disable/enable auto track" button next to the "set home or "go home" would be really nice feature. It would save times having to go in to the settings and such when it is snowing/raining.
Thank you

Dear Travis, thank you for the inputs and sharing. This voice of customer has been passed/shared with all development team members.

Since it sounds the camera is installed in a quite open area, the activity zone option in the app may help some to reduce the unnecessary detection.

Though we have the on/off switch of auto-tracking in Amaryllo app Setting already, you suggest that we move this option to app homepage for easier switching on and off, correct ?

You are correct. If the camera is not detecting anything, it will return back to the HOME position set after couple seconds. If it detects something, it would keep focusing in that direction which may be annoying.

Thank you
