I purchased 4 icam pro fhd cameras through the indiegogo support program. This particular cam with amid mentioned above is not initializing. It shows the blue light for power. But the light does not blink nor does the camera rotate as intended during the first 50 seconds or so... nor after that. Same problem with another cam as well. Can u advise what can be done to leave this issue and ensure they work as usual. Also are there any service options in Mumbai, India. I need to get all 4 serviced. Please confirm of resolution for these issues.

Dear Sunil, thank you for the mail. For iCAM PRO (ATOM), if the camera does not response to the hardware reset and blue is always on. Please try the steps following :

After crossing check the AC adapt and USB cable (mobile power set is good to test), if this is not the cause : please try the last method as blow:

Unplug power,
A. Please must use this tool to format the SD card on PC

Rebuild the firmware from the external SD card :
This is a manual re-build firmware procedure for your reference (recovery and cure rate is more than 90%)

Download file

- Uncompress/unzip it to ROOT directory of a MicroSD card [PC->SD] ( one
folder and one file )
- Insert the card to the camera
- Plug power cord of it. CAM will auto detect the codes in the Card (a
short beep) to do the update ( blue light is on )
- Wait till front blue and green leds are blinking. (About 2-3 minutes)
- Unplug power cord
- Take card out.
- Plug power cord again and the blue led will keep blink ( waiting for
installation mode )

Installation: , If you are successful, please erase the card for normal use.

PS – this is what you see during the process

Insert the card with unzipped files
Plug in power
A short beep ( camera detect and read the files ) in 5 seconds
After about 40 seconds
Two short beeps ( writing complete )
Blue and Green lights blinking – done ( wrote in )
Unplug the power
Remove the SD and erase it
