I have purchased the Amaryllo atom Ar2 on Feb 2017, and it was working fine until 2 days ago. The Ar2 stopped working suddenly. It seems that no power is connecting to the camera. I tried to change the location of the power source (light socket) but no luck. I know there is no problem with the room electricity because the light bulbs are working but when I put the atom AR2 in the light socket, nothing happens. No lights come from the camera, no movement, nothing it is dead. I left there for over 15 min hoping that it might work and I tried the reset button without success. I also tried to remove and reattach the wire from the Power (Micro USB Port) at the back of the camera, but it did not work.

Thank you for the prompt reply. The AR2 did work when I removed the USB cable and used mobile phone USB cable. So the issue is caused by the power set inside the casing as you expected. Kindly advice how to solve it?

Dear Ammar, thank you for the mail.

Please remove the USB cable and use another set of AC and USB cable (mobile phone set is ok) to power supply it to see if it works good. (assuming the blue led [power] is not on/still). This is to tell if the issue is caused by the power set inside the casing. This is the most possible cause of the symptom.
If the blue front led is on still, and the camera does not response to any hardware reset and re-install, please let us know, we may go to the last method to recover it. Thank you.



Good verification. Thank you. Since the warranty expired in Feb, 2018, you may need to dis-assemble the lamp tube to check if the inside AC or USB cable is defective. (AC, more likely) They are the common standard component which you can purchase anywhere locally for the same spec. Once replaced, it should work good by other customers' experience. We will send you few pictures as reference. Hope it helps.



Update: sorry, mistake. AR2 design is different with iCAM Pro Deluxe, which means inside the iCAM Pro Deluxe, it is an AC and a cable to connect to the camera. But, AR2 is a special component mounted / not a single adapt. Need this component to fix this problem. Will send you the reference picture to see if you are interested in buying one to repair it locally. Thank you.
